Mother Momoko has been living with her son Yuugo since she separated from her husband. Working hard on her own, Yugo grew up healthy and became a student aiming for a first-class university. From now on, the hard work will be rewarded, and if Yugo becomes a member of society, a happy life awaits him... that was supposed to be the case. In the summer before Yugo's graduation next year, Isshiki and his parents consult with his homeroom teacher, Takimoto. After an auspicious three-party meeting, Momoko is left alone in the classroom and is told that there is a problem with Yugo going on to college.
