Yumi introduces her fiancé Shigeru and his younger sister Kiyoko to her father-in-law, Tokuji, who has lived with her for many years. Tokujii smiles when he finally hears about his daughter-in-law's marriage. Yumi is relieved to see the situation, but realizes that Tokujii is concerned about the back of Kiyoko's skirt. Witnessing her father-in-law's awareness of women for the first time, Yumi is attacked by an indescribable emotion.
