Ichika lives in two households at her husband's house after getting married to her husband who often travels on business trips and continues to live at home. She has retired from work and is working hard to make a child with her beloved husband, but there is no sign that she will be able to have a child, and her married life with her husband who is often away on business trips is getting colder. Her relationship with her father-in-law and her mother-in-law who live with her is generally good. She's just frustrated that her father-in-law is drinking every day, getting drunk and verbally abusing her mother-in-law. One night, her father-in-law comes into Ichika's room drunk.
