Junko Saeki is a university student who attends the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. One day, when she helps Professor Eda looking for her materials, she runs into Professor Takiguchi. Takiguchi has long had doubts about Eda's approach to research, and he takes out his frustration on Eda's research student, Junko.
